What can increase my chances of contracting HIV?

Unprotected sex, sharing dirty needles, and having another sexually transmitted infection at the same time can all increase your risk of contracting HIV. Get tested if you engage in any of these high risk behaviors. To prevent HIV, practice safe sex by using protection (condom) and never share needles.
